As we prepare to open registration for the 2012 season, we're excited to announce some exciting changes - a new base camp in Seattle, more community service opportunities, and a brand new one-week camp for kids entering 6th and 7th grades.
Reflections on an amazing first summer
It’s truly hard to believe that the summer has come to an end. When we began creating Adamah Adventures over two years ago, we could only imagine what it would be like, how camp would feel, and what our campers and staff would get out of being a part of Adamah Adventures.
Session 2 off to a great start
Session 2 began yesterday, and our 24 campers are having a blast as they prepare to leave on their treks on Sunday! We'll post a longer update on Sunday, but for now, be sure to check our Facebook page for short updates. Shabbat Shalom!
Session 1 in full swing
It's hard to believe that our very first session of Adamah Adventures will soon be over. They say that in camp time, a day feels like a week, a week feels like a month, a month feels like a year, and the summer goes by in a snap. If I didn't believe that before, I certainly do now. Before the summer passes us by, I want to share just a few highlights of the past three weeks.
Preparations
One month from today, we will welcome our first teens to Adamah Adventures! After two years of planning and preparation, we are so excited for our inaugural summer. We thought we'd share a glimpse into our office. For the past month, the UPS and Fedex men have become very familiar with our office, as our shelves have started to overflow with gear. Campers and Camp Fairs
Over the past few weeks, registration has really picked up! We're very excited to welcome our first dozen campers to the Adamah Adventures family, and look forward to welcoming many more in the months to come. We'll be traveling extensively around the South and East Coast over the next two months, and hope you'll be able to come meet us!
We'll be visiting Alpharetta, Manhattan, Atlanta, Duluth, Nashville, Miami, Boca Raton, Marietta, Raleigh, Birmingham, Ormond Beach, Johns Creek, and Sandy Springs. For a complete schedule, read more!
