Application Instructions
Thank you for expressing interest in working at Adamah Adventures. To apply for a Trek Leader position, please do the following:
- Review the Job Responsibilities and let us know if you have any questions about the job requirements.
- Fill out and submit our online form. The more information you can give us, the better we will be able to evaluate you and make good hiring decisions.
- There are several questions on the application which require extra time or thought. We suggest that you first type your answers in another document and then copy and paste them into the online form. For your convenience, these questions are listed below.
- You will need the contact information from your past employers.
- After you submit your application you will need to have two people who have previously supervised you fill out a reference form. Please have your references go to http://www.adamahadventures.org/staff/staff-reference-form.html to complete the online form.
- As soon as we receive your completed application, we will be in touch with you to continue the hiring process.

Personal questions:
- What event, person or experience has had the greatest impact on your Jewish identity?
- Part of our mission is to help our campers explore and strengthen their Jewish identities. How can you contribute to this goal?
- Describe your experience working with teenagers (teaching, coaching, leading, etc.), and explain why you wish to work with this age group. How do you feel about living 24 hours a day with a group of teenagers who can be boisterous, talkative, and at times inattentive or rebellious?
- Describe your experience working as part of a team. How do you feel about living and working 24 hours a day with a small staff team? Please discuss communication, flexibility, and group decision making.
- What do you think is the most important quality of a trip leader and why do you think you would be a good addition to the Adamah Adventures staff?
- Why would you like to work at Adamah Adventures this summer and what do you hope to gain from this experience?
