Incubator begins
Last week, Bobbee and I attended the first of our Incubator Workshops in Teaneck, New Jersey. Over the course of four intense days, we met key board members of the Foundation for Jewish Camp, the other five directors who are in the incubator with us, and the faculty and mentors that will be guiding us on this journey. If you'd like to hear more about the other specialty camps in the Incubator, check out this press release from the FJC.
Over the past week, two things have really started to sink in. First, we have a tremendous amount of work ahead of us. Second, and more importantly, we are incredible lucky to have not only financial support, but an amazing set of resources accessible to us. The Foundation for Jewish Camp has put together a blueprint for us to follow over the next eighteen months that hopefully will insure our success. They've also assembled a group of mentors that truly represent the best of the best in the camping industry. We'll keep you posted as our progress continues!
