Exciting changes for 2012

As we prepare to open registration for the 2012 season, we're excited to announce some exciting changes - a new base camp in Seattle, more community service opportunities, and a brand new one-week camp for kids entering 6th and 7th grades.

Atlanta AND Seattle Base Camps

We will offer four treks for Summer 2012. Our Blue Ridge Mountains trek and our new North Carolina Peaks and Paddles trek will both begin and end at our Atlanta-area Base Camp. Our Pacific Northwest trek and our new Oregon Service trek will begin and end at our new Seattle-area Base Camp. This change will make our treks more affordable, and more attractive for teens coming on our treks from all over the country.  For teens living in Atlanta, we plan to offer chaperoned flights to and from our Seattle base camp.

One Week Adventure Camps

As we continue to grow and expand, we are adding a completely new offering for 2012. Campers who are currently in 5th and 6th grades can sign up for a one week adventure camp, based in the mountains of North Georgia. Campers will spend the week hiking, rock climbing, canoeing and more! This amazing experience will also be affordable, with prices under $1,000!
