I'm writing today from Lenoir, North Carolina. I spent this morning touring an outpost camp that is owned by the North Carolina 4-H camp system. They have stopped using this facility, and are looking to lease it to other interested groups. The location is beautiful and is surrounded on 3 sides by the Pisgah National Forest. There is a small lake with canoes on site, and opportunities for whitewater rafting, canoeing and great rock climbing within a 30 minute drive.
